During my two years in India, many aspects of the Indian culture have struck me either due to their severity, richness, or complete difference from my American culture. In my concentration, I depict the most prominent aspects of India's culture through pictures I have taken during my time here, such as trafficking, overpopulation, poverty, etc. I also portray religious contrasts, the loss of Indian identity due to western influence, and the colorful aspects of Indian festivals such as Holi.
