AP Studio Art Concentration Section - Drawing Portfolio

The theme of my concentration is the depiction of social issues as interpreted from the novel The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Although the novel is based on the happenings of a mythical world, it represents certain conflicts that relate to current issues around the world. This series of artworks presents issues that I personally feel very strongly about, such as the rapid changes in technology, women’s rights, environmental degradation, and loss of tradition.
