The central idea of my concentration is the exaggerated dependence of humanity on mobile phones. I intend to illustrate how a simple device has invaded our daily lifestyles and has become vital to our very survival. We are so dependent on phones that we’ve lost our ability to read clocks and calendars, and we get so involved in mobile phone communication that we fail to notice the events taking place around us, even life-threatening and earth-shattering events.
