Studio 1: Monsoon

Braving the rain, the Studio 1 class ventured outside to get a closer look at the plants of monsoon. Observations, internalizations, and a few photographs were taken to inform the drawings. Back inside, we began experimentations with colored ink. The abstract ink paintings form the backdrop for the pen drawings. Each student created a minimum of 3 artworks on their monsoon plant using pen and colored ink. Here are a few photographs and many artworks.
